The process of assembling rich, solid architecture will enable a building to
resonate until it settles - nurturing it to achieve an inherent, optimal solution.
Inhabitants will feel secure, yet be allowed to breathe and dwell
whilst the building functions quietly in the background.
My practice has extensive experience in the renewal, rejuvenation and conversion of older individual housing stock, and in feasibility planning for building revitalization. Included too, are commercial tenancy alterations and fit outs, new individual, dual occupancies and multi-unit dwellings.
A strong interest of the practice is working in community housing, with particular interest in housing for those with special needs. Together with the pursuit of environmentally sustainable design principles, these form the primary focus and ongoing interest of the practice.

Typically, residential alterations seek to rejuvenate the building fabric, along with upgrading the services, re-planning, and extending spaces.
In some instances, a family home will be refurbished several times over a number of years to suit the family’s changing needs - sometimes the brief being as simple as a new entry. In other instances, a home has changed hands, and the opportunity is given to refurbish for successive owners. Clients often return with successive, unrelated projects, and their recommendations prompt others.
Commercial and public projects evolve similarly from experience and connections. An appreciation of different stakeholders’ needs and aspirations, together with the ability to listen to clients, helps us move together through the complexities of your particular project, gently facilitating a resonant and relevant design outcome.
